Abstract The Bonifacio Global City is a new growth area in the heart of Metro Manila. The developers look forward in building a visionary city in time with our country's growth and development as we move towards an industrializing status. The field of architecture shall play a major role in this future city and shall form its structure and settings. This being the case, we respond to this challenge by going into research and development of new building types and building systems and provide our proposals for the said city.

Architecture for the Bonifacio Global City: Bonifacio Central Terminal is a two-stage thesis work. The first was done during the first semester based on extensive research and studies to establish the backbone for the project translation, stage two, which was done during the second semester.

This thesis book contains 2 volumes. The first volume covers the Building Type Study (BTS) and Building Systems Study (BSS). The BTS on Multimodal Land Transportation Terminal illustrates and describes the international patterns of multimodal terminals and the local status of our country's land transport terminals. A planning framework is also presented on how to approach the design and development for our multimodal terminals. A complimentary BSS includes two approaches: Integrated lighting for a 24-hour public space and for the exhibition and expression of the structure. Wayfinding Design contains the principles and its importance in travel conditions.

The second volume contains the project design translation: Bonifacio Central Station, which serves as an application of the studies done in volume 1.
