| Abstract | Ayos is a sci-fi narrative short film (concept) following Gelo, a repairman in a future dystopian Philippines. For his job, he uses a nearly perfect gadget called the Diagnostic Device that automatically fixes any malfunctioning technology. One night, after a job, he follows a strange noise down an alleyway and ends up in a retro arcade where he meets an old friend. In a trip down gaming memory lane, Gelo rediscovers who he truly is. With futuristic production design and modern CGI the filmmaker hopes to exhibit the feeling of alienation in a technologically advanced world. |
