A pre-study was conducted prior to the actual feasibility study. Surveys and interviews, as well as an ocular inspection, were conducted to gather the pertinent data.

The market and financial aspects showed promising results. It was revealed that the students and staff welcomed the concept of including a videogame collection in the library. It was reasoned that the study was financially feasible. Other possible sources of funding were also mentioned. Results of the technical aspect showed that CIIT was lacking in terms of the library space and staff. Physical requirements and staff qualifications for the proposal were also listed.
