Resource Title Documenting the traditions of the University of the Philippines Diliman
Date Issued April 2014
Abstract The paper aims to identify the current available materials regarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the University of the Philippine Diliman, specifically its form, content and context. It also aims to formulate recommendations for improved archiving of these materials.

After identifying and assessing materials from different physical and online repositories, the researcher found that the documentation varies from tradition to tradition. While UP traditions are popular in mass media, materials on newer traditions were sparse. Generally, most documentation were heavily textual for all traditions. Many of the materials from 2000 and older came from the UARD while newer articles were mostly found online. The materials were found to be mostly in good condition. The organization of these materials vary from organization to organization.

Recommendations include improved communication between concerned institutions, improved archiving practices and the application of a revised Documentation Strategy Process with Video Archival Workflow to create audio visual records.
