| Abstract | The Kapakyanan Festival is an annual fruit festival celebrated by the Municipality of Victoria every September 18th since2000 in commemoration of the town’s founding anniversary. Kapakyanan is a Mangyan term that means “kasaganaan” or abundance. As a resident of Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, the proponent of this project wished to take part in the preservation of the Kapakyanan Festival as Victoria’s intangible cultural heritage. Thus, the Kapakyanan Festival Virtual Exhibit was conceptualized. It sought to accomplish the following objectives: to gather and build a digital collection of records about the Kapakyanan Festival and to create an online virtual exhibit to preserve and promote the Kapakyanan Festival as one of the town’s pride and intangible cultural heritage. The project activities and outcomes were described in the following deliverables: digital collection of records (photos, videos, and related online resources) about the Kapakyanan Festival and the Kapakyanan Festival Online Virtual Exhibit. Key findings from the exhibit evaluation conducted were reflected in Website Performance Report and Website Feedback Survey Report. After finishing the project, the following are the recommendations to those who wish to continue the project for its sustainability: 1. Continue research to provide more informative and detailed narratives and descriptions. 2. Continue working on building the collection and publishing the items in the Tainacan repository. 3. For the Sangguniang Bayan and the executive office of Victoria to give their full support and fund its web hosting renewal and if possible, hire an IT personnel who will maintain the website considering that Victoria has no official website and this is the first one. It is also recommended that those who would wish to do a similar project be willing to spend on paid templates and some paid plugins for more functionalities and better customization.
