Abstract | This project aims to implement a comprehensive Document Management System (DMS) for the Legal Deputation division of the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) of the Philippines. The objective is to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and security in the creation, management, and verification of legal deputations. The project encompasses the redevelopment and redesigning of the existing legal deputation application and the incorporation of a QR code system for streamlined document verification. The implementation of a DMS will revolutionize the current document handling processes by automating and digitizing various aspects. It will include features such as document creation, storage, retrieval, version control, and workflow management. By leveraging modern technologies and best practices, the DMS will significantly reduce manual paperwork, minimize errors, and expedite administrative tasks related to legal deputations. Furthermore, the legal deputation application will undergo redevelopment and redesign to align with the requirements and objectives of the OSG. This redevelopment will ensure a user-friendly interface, optimized data entry forms, and intuitive workflows. The redesigned application will enable authorized personnel to create, review, and approve legal deputations efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements. In addition, the project will introduce a QR code system for document verification. Each legal deputation document generated through the DMS will be assigned a unique QR code, containing encrypted information and metadata. Authorized individuals can scan the QR code using a mobile device or dedicated scanners to validate the authenticity and integrity of the document. This integration of QR codes will enhance security, prevent forgery, and expedite document verification processes.
