| Abstract | Marikina City has developed from a residential and industrial type of municipality to a highly urbanized city in the Philippines. The downtown area of Marikina City, which locals refer to as Bayan, exhibits the said progression of the city because of the revitalization of the different establishments in the area. Despite this, it also has caused problems in terms of transportation, and it still lacks development in commercialization. A commercial complex that doubles as a satellite terminal will serve as the proposed project in response to these issues. The project aims to aid the existing main terminal in Bayan to address the congestion in the area and to vitalize the commercial developments adjacent to the project site through integrating the commercial and terminal systems. |
