| Abstract | Micro, small, and medium enterprises are the bedrock of the private sector and innovation in the Philippines; they are essential contributors to economic development outcomes, contributing significantly to employment generation and economic growth. This study aimed to identify how to enhance the MSMEs of the Philippines through the adoption of new technologies. Using a quantitative and qualitative design, the research surveyed and interviewed 32 participants who belong to MSMEs in the NCR and CALABARZON. The result shows that the primary challenges identified in adopting technology are a deficiency in technical proficiency and budgetary limitations. There is a varied level of awareness and utilization of government assistance for innovation among the participants. Although a substantial proportion of the population knows about government programs, most have not utilized such assistance. There is an explicit acknowledgment among MSMEs regarding the significance of technology in strengthening the company's resilience. The interviews revealed that the MSMEs interviewed prioritized disaster preparedness and recovery. Lastly, participants view technology adoption as something that will help them strengthen the resilience of their businesses. In conclusion, the study sheds light on the prevailing technological landscape among businesses in the NCR and CALABARZON regions. The findings indicate a widespread utilization of technologies, albeit with limitations, with a notable emphasis on popular platforms like social media and mobile applications. Key impediments to broader technology adoption include challenges related to technical proficiency and financial constraints. Moreover, the study highlights a nuanced awareness of government assistance for innovation, yet a significant gap exists between awareness and actual utilization of these programs.
