Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has paved way to the utility and exploration of different educational approaches to bridge the learning of students from all over the world. The tremendous effects of the pandemic affected all industry around the globe, but particularly the educational industry. During the pandemic, the educational sector have changed from face-to-face learning to online learning management systems and video conferencing platforms that supplements the learning of students at home.

This capstone project aims to tackle the issues with the Learning Management System of schools within the Philippines, and align on the changes that can be made to improve students’ collaborative learning through online platforms in terms of practice and tools that can be managed. In the light of 21st century and the emerging trends of technology, exploring the areas of development in the implementation of learning management system is vital and can impose convenience to both educators and learners.

The capstone project used data across different studies conducted on schools within the Philippines that used learning management system and have tackled its usability with the current learning setup. The data of this capstone project was derived by two (2) educators from Lourdes School of Quezon City (LSQC) and Philippine Science High School (PSHS). Analysis, recommendations, and conclusion on the status of the Philippines’ readiness for another online classroom setup using a learning management system was discussed in the study.
