It requires a substantial investment in technology and a willingness to adopt changes and experimentation. Organizations thrive and stay competitive in the digital age by utilizing digital technologies to streamline processes and improve customer experiences. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a nationwide adoption of digital technology, which has exposed the government's digital readiness. The government has also used this as an opportunity to pivot its process to fully digitize and maximize the potential benefits of digitalization. In addition, the pandemic has driven societies to a point where technology is no longer a choice but a necessity. Digital technologies such as AI, machine learning, IoT, and other applications have enabled organizations to develop new products and services, enter new markets, and provide personalized customer experiences. They have also enabled an opportunity to enhance the efficiency in the delivery of programs and services, including transparency on transactions. This has increased the effectiveness of the public sector. But, being a digital organization not only requires possessing digital products, services, and customer engagements, as well as leveraging technology to drive operations. It also requires a shift in the tasks, conduct, and communication of employees to stakeholders. Leaders must recognize digital transformation as a pivotal and strategic paradigm shift, and establish a conducive culture to facilitate the change while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
