Resource Title Technology adoption: implementing AI TRiSM for Company XYZ
Date Issued 22 May 2025
Abstract The adoption of Artificial intelligence (AI) presents significant challenges in the area of trust and security. Due to these concerns, Company XYZ (an eCommerce provider) struggles to convince existing customers to adopt new AI-infused services.

With several merchants expressing apprehension about AI systems, this capstone attempts to examine the method that Company XYZ has been using to address merchant concerns over data privacy and security risks. It will also determine the key gaps in AI trust and risk governance hindering AI adoption at Company XYZ and the governance strategies that can enhance merchant confidence in AI-driven services.

Data collection was procured from internal discussions during scrum meetings, existing system and infrastructure assessments, data gathering, and informal interviews with related personnel within Company XYZ. All of these were conducted by 35 personnel from the company.

This capstone applied the use of Analytic Rubric for Implementing Artificial Intelligence Trust Risk and Security Management (AI TRiSM) in AI Risk Assessment to score the criteria, Framework Implementation Flowchart, and Action Plan Development Table to study the implementation of Gartner’s AI TRiSM for Company XYZ.

Due to the ongoing nature of this research, key aspects such as long-term governance and real-world adoption challenges remain under evaluation. Therefore, it is recommended that the necessary assessments be conducted to test the independent variables.
