Abstract This study explored the future of last-mile Junior and Senior High Schools in Mauban, Quezon, through Technology Foresight and scenario-building. It examined how technological, environmental, institutional, and socio- economic factors influence educational systems in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDA) over a 5- to 10-year horizon. The study aimed to identify future skill requirements in Mauban’s key industries— energy, tourism, agriculture, and retail—to align educational policy with workforce needs.
